Nope they will not. Xbox live redeem codes will work in the place you get them for example UK ones work on EU AND UK consoles. US bought ones will work on US consoles If you look on the xbox site it will you tell you exactly what i just told you

Yep, everthing live works, Except if you have a PAL(Eastern) system and try a NTSC(US) game, But points are fine.
