How can I live in Ireland past the 90 day visa limit for americans? I want to live in Ireland for at least a year and since my job is 100% online I don't need to work for a company while I'm there. I can afford to pay for health insurance or whatever taxes that Ireland imposes, but I can't seem to find anything that would help me stay past 90 days. Anyone know of a way around this? Eire for sure. Less population, less crime, higher wage, as far as i know like 0% unemployment it is very low anyway. Cleaner air we dont have much heavy poluting industries here. Cost of living is a little high but nothing major. No problems with americans, my mother,brother and sister are all american and me and my father are both Irish.

Only been to Dublin - and that was nice. If you are talking about getting a job while you are in Ireland - you have a long wait ahead of you. To work legally takes the proper kind of visa. To work illegally is asking for a boat load of problems. http://www.inis.gov.ie/
