See if she has a MySpace page. If you join the site, you can enter a person's name to see if they have a page of their own. SOmetimes you kind of have to wade through them, but a lot of people find old friends that way.

See if that area have a local paper with free classified or ads and place one .You can try websites for that area as well. Start small and see where it gets you.

First get the address to Postmaster General in Ireland. Write two letters, one address to Postmaster providing as much information that you can about your friend. Include in your letter, last known address, where you know this person from and what is your reasons for wanting to contact this person. Write the second letter to your friend as if you knew he/she was going to get it. Put both letters in one envelope. If the postmaster believes your letters and they have a current address, usually they will forward your letter to your friend. Was your friend in the military? If so, contact military headquarters. If your friend possibly is still here in the states, then write the US Postmaster General and follow the same instructions as above. Good Luck and Happy New Year.
