I will be moving to Ireland for an indefinite period of time in June (3 months minimum to 1 year). Where would be the best place to live....regarding job possibilities, affordable housing, younger people...(in their 20's) What do you think?

It has to be galway!! Dublin is like any city in the world it has no distinctiveness to make it stand out Galway is more relaxed, less expensive better nights out for people who dont neccessarily like the chaos of a big city Cork is not a bad alternative either

Being from Dublin (but living in the states), I have to say Dublin. There would be more choices for employment but its expensive to live there. Now is a very bad time to move there as their economy has been it really badly. The Celtic Tiger is well gone.

Galway without a doubt, not too urban , not too rural plus you get a sense of the 'real Ireland'.

Obviously Newry. I thought everyone knew that! It really isn't the worst, it has one of the youngest populations on the island, your chances of getting a job here are probably better in Newry than anywhere else and we have a football team. What more could you want? :)
