my parents cant fly, i want them to visit me in Phuket,Thailand. They live in Ireland, how can i get them here
I live in Phuket and have not seen my parents in nearly 4 years, due to work restrictions I dont have the time to visit them back in Ireland. Both of them will not fly anywhere so I am finding it hard to get them on a holiday to Phuket. They have agreed to come if they dont have to fly Is there a possible and safe way they can get to Phuket Thailand by Bus, train, boat, hovercraft, cruise ship......whatever without using wings and altitude. Your help would be most appreciated

a train is a really good way to go. and they get to see the country as well.

yeah they could take a boat, just do a search on yahoo for it.

I m sure there is way to get there mixing all kind of transportation stated. But it will take to much money and time, if they leave now, they will probably get there in a long time. Are they afraid of flying, i know a few airline company have programs for fear, like Air France if i recall

if they have no wings;just kiddin. if they wont fly.going by land is gonna be difficult. seems the only way possible would be by sea. i sure would'nt want to ship that far. yuk!.i dont like getting too high either.they want to go there?

I am sure there is a way - but it will take a very, very long time and a lot of money. It will involve a lot of trains and/or ship and buses. They should talk to their local travel agent about it. I imagine it means taking the train across Europe then through parts of Russia and China. Then bus down south through the Golden triangle region. Or take a cruise ship through the Mediterranean and then come through the middle east and India and Bangladesh by bus or train. (not sure if they can come through Myanmar) Regardless, the land route is not as safe as plane because they will have to travel through some very lonely and isolated roads. You need to make them realise that. There may be cruise ship that will come to Gulf of Siam from India but they will have to travel only at certain time. What you are asking is possible but It will cost a lot of money!!!

Which would be a better country to live in

Which would be a better country to live in? Ireland or Japan?
I've been trying to decide for a long time but I just can't. Both of them are great. The only problem I can think of with Japan is the language. I don't really want to take the time to learn it, but I will if I have to.

Ireland, especially if you're not Japanese. The Japanese, I'm sorry to say, are a very xenophobic people and you will be treated as a funny gimmick if you're not a Japanese person, stared at and always viewed as an outsider and a weirdo.

Japanese is actually pretty easy to learn/speak. Writing it is kinda hard, but I learned it within 3 months. ;D

i would say ireland. japan is great, but just consider the cultural change. and the health problems. just do some research before you make up your mind. :))

I think it depends on what the countries have to offer, and what type of environment you're willing to live in. Ireland--green, hills, Latin, pubs, English, more green, more hills. Japan--crowds, streets, Tokyo, black hair, Japanese, technology, crowds. If I were you, I'd live in Ireland and save enough money to visit Japan, like on a vacay and take some friends.

Honor thy father and thy mother (Don't be mean to your parents) 6.You shall not murder. 7.You shall not commit adultery. 8.You shall not steal 9.You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor. (Don't lie) 10.You shall not covet (be jealous) If you have broken any of these than you are worthy of suffering in Hell forever. But Jesus died for everyone's sins so that people could become Christians and go to Heaven. He was beat, mocked, and crucified because He loves everyone so much and wants everyone to have a chance to get to heaven. If you would just accept his simple free gift you can go to Heaven, grow in holiness, and have a relationship with Jesus. Pray this "Jesus I accept your gift of Salvation, live in me, and make me like You, amen."

I think u should pick Ireland, It's SO beautiful. And the men are so hot-minus the bad teeth.

I have lived in Japan before, it is not a desirable place to live in because of the stresses and pressures "men" receive in the work place. You would find many drunk people at night because of the day time work pressures. Probably Ireland is better.

I want to find out how much a Military pilot would get paid in either a month or a year. Please give answe in euros not dollars pounds etc.

Depends what you are doing. In the RAF you'll get around £33k a year (41k euros) for a pilot role.

It depends on: - Country - Rank - Time in service/time in grade Without copying a pay chart, here's an example: In the US a Captain/O3 with 5 years in, the most common grade of pilot in the USAF and USN, gets ABOUT $4400/month plus $120/month subsistence allowance and about $450/month flight pay = $4970/month, or about $59640/yr. This doesn't include any housing allowance(s) he/she may qualify for. It's not as much as most people wish to believe. I did the hard part, you'll have to do the conversion
