yea, u can live there

I'm not too sure but it would certainly help if you were a skilled worker. See the thing is job prospects right now are very low and it would be considerably harder for a non EU citizen to get work, unless you've a rare qualification. I've googled for a link but they don't look that helpful, but somebody here will probably get you one

First thing you need to do is either secure a visa to live & work in the Republic of Ireland or if you have a parent (in Ireland's case a grandparent will do as well) who was a citizen of an EU member state you could try to secure citizenship/passport of that country - citizens of most EU member states can move freely within the EU & settle where they wish but there are restrictions on the movement of some country's citizens such as Bulgaria & Romania, it varies from country to country. These links will have information on moving to Ireland: http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/moving-country/moving-to-ireland Working in Ireland http://www.citizensinformation.ie/categories/moving-country/moving-to-ireland/working-in-ireland contact information for the Irish Embassy in the US http://www.embassyofireland.org/home/index.aspx?id=30782

Sure you can live here - but forget about getting employment for a while. At the moment, jobs are disappearing fast. You would not get your residency/work permit right now unless you have a very rare skill that's in high demand. I suggest googling 'working in the EU' to find out what you need to do, generally Americans have to get the job offer first, then they can apply for a residency/work permit - no job offer, no permit.

Where can I find families to live with in the western part of Ireland

Where can I find families to live with in the western part of Ireland?
I'm trying to work on my Irish language skills. (I'm an American.) And I was wondering if there were any organizations that allowed students to travel to Ireland and live with a family in an Irish-speaking community. Thanks.

There are not as many adult opportunities for staying with families, although you don't actually say what age you are. This address and number below is one of the best schools in the country and you should contact them with specific questions. But if you're younger and want to spend money, I'd say you can do two things. I would recommend visiting the gaeltachts(areas where Irish is still spoken on an everyday basis) in Galway or Donegal on holiday for a few weeks and stay in a tent or a hostel for the time. B and B's are expensive but the landlady will not hesitate to 'immerse you' in the language if you'd like. It might be even cheaper than attending courses but of course it depends on how well you learn by yourself. there are lectures and courses in north america too. This website below details some traveling courses you might be interested in: http://www.daltai.com/events.htm (though here the last entry seems only applicable) And there's a town in Canada which has now been designated a gaeltacht too. Here's some info, and sorry for using Wiki... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Permanent_North_American_Gaeltacht Below is the address of the Donegal school... Cumann an Phiarsaigh, Ballyconnell, Falcarragh, Co. Donegal Emphasis on catering for the family. Inquiries to: Cumann an Phiarsaigh An Chnoc Muineachán Co. If you can't figure that out, you probably aren't Harvard material.
2 :
Here is what Harvard says http://www.admissions.college.harvard.edu/prospective/international/index.html
3 :
You have to take SAT II (Subject Test), in which you'll take biology, math and english, if you wanna be a med doctor. Don't mind the other fools! Everyone needs a little help once in a while! Haters!!!
4 :
Every school has its own procedure, but here's basically what you need to do to apply to Harvard or any US college: 1) Complete an application (you can often find this at the colleges' website). More information: http://www.universitylanguage.com/guides/how-to-fill-out-a-college-or-us-universit-application/ 2) Take standardized tests, such as the ACT or SAT. These are offered around the world. More information: http://www.universitylanguage.com/guides/SAT-vs-ACT-Testing-for-College/ 3) Get a student visa. More information: http://www.universitylanguage.com/guides/required-documents-for-getting-a-us-student-visa/ You can also check out this blog specifically for students who are studying or want to study in the US: http://www.universitylanguage.com/blog/ Good luck!!!

How can I find some senior clubs for my Aunt who used to live in Ireland? She now lives in the Nashville area
My aunt did charity work, fund raisers, played bridge, and travelled alot. How can I find a good community for her to become involved in and meet new friends? She feels very isolated and unhappy at the moment even though she is living with relatives there.

Ladies in Tennessee are very sociable and I am sure they would welcome your aunt into their groups. You might get her interested in church activities, a local garden club and the Red Hat Society for starters.
